Rockwool International A/S in Hedehusene, west of Copenhagen, Denmark, is ready to strengthen the IT supported Financial Processes which also comprise controlling. In this newly created role as Solution Architect in the Group IT – function, you will play a key role in shaping this development, bridging business and IT where SAP is a key enabler.

Responsibilities

The Solution Architect Financial Processes has the responsibility to design and help implement the optimal landscape of applications and functionally in those applications that support the financial processes in the business.

Being a part of a team of 4 Solution Architects, you must ensure that all applications and modules within the team’s areas of responsibility are integrated and work coherently.

It is a key success factor to maintain a close relationship with the line of Business and the Key Account Managers (KAMs) within Group IT. You play a key role in helping to identify needs and clarifying requirements. You must be able to demonstrate and explain processes and applications that fulfill the needs of the business in business terms (as opposed to IT terms).

As Solution Architect you are responsible for staying up to date with the development of applications in the market and you must proactively suggest improvements to the template solution, the applications and the Application Landscape supported by RockBis.

Tasks

The Solution Architect:

• Assists in keeping the RockBis Group Solution template updated.
• Helps in providing knowledge transfer to the RockBis organization and together with the other Solution Architects he/she will keep relevant parties within RockBis updated on the development of the template and the other applications being supported by RockBis.
• Participates in Common Working Groups in own area and will maintain a close working relationship with the Group Specifier in his area.
• Participates in pre-projects and in (part of) the Business Blueprint phase of implementation projects and helps the Project Manager to ensure that all relevant areas are covered and that integration points have been taken into account.

You refer to the Section Leader Financial Processes and work in accordance with general procedures, policies and guidelines for the Rockwool Group. Special attention must be paid to RockBis policies, Informatics Guidelines, Data Security Guidelines and the Project Management Guideline.

Other relevant information

• Your base will be Rockwool Headquarters and can expect approx. 50 travel days/year.
• You must be fluent in English both written and verbally.
